I never received the eSurvey Self Inspection link, what should I do?

When you will receive the initial self-inspection eSurvey link depends:

  • If you already own the property and are currently living in the home, you will receive your self-inspection information immediately after signing your new policy.

  • If you are buying a new home and have not yet closed on the property, we will wait to send your self-inspection information until the Effective Date of your new policy.

Check your email:

The email may have gone to your primary inbox or your spam/junk folder. Try searching your email for "eSurvey".

Your self-inspection email will come from eSurvey with the subject: “Home Inspection Made Easy.”

If you do not complete the self-inspection right away, you may get up to two additional reminder emails with the subjects:

  • “REMINDER: Complete your home inspection eSurvey today”
  • “There's still time; finish your home inspection eSurvey today”

Check your portal:

If you are within the inspection 7 day window, you will see the link to your self inspection survey in your customer portal. You can access your portal via desktop, tablet, or cell phone.

  • Log in at kin.com
  • Find your policy and click on Documents
  • You should see a card for "Complete self-inspection" with a "Get Started" button
  • Click "Get Started" to go to your eSurvey
