What is the One-Time Password (OTP) and how does it work?
For added security, Kin uses One-Time Passwords (OTP) to verify your identity each time you log in to make changes. This ensures that only you can access your account.
How it works:
After entering your email and password, you'll be asked to verify your identity with a one-time code sent to either:
- Your phone number on file (via text message)
- Your email address
Step-by-step instructions:
- After entering your login credentials, you'll see the OTP selection screen
- Choose whether to receive the code via Text or Email
- Click Send Code
- Wait a few moments for the code to arrive
- Enter the 6-digit code in the boxes provided
- Click Verify
- You'll be logged into your portal
Important details:
- Do not share this code with anyone else. Kin will never proactively contact you for this code.
