# When can I change my payment plan? How can I change my payment plan?

## Changing your payment plan has specific timing requirements based on where you are in your policy period.

#### **If you need to change your payment plan or payor, you can do so:**

**✅ Before your first payment:** If you haven't made your first payment yet, you can:

- Change your payment frequency
- For Home policies, change between Credit Card and Escrow pay

**✅ At renewal:** When your policy renews, you have full flexibility to:

- Change payment frequency
- For Home policies, change between Credit Card and Escrow pay

**At this time, Kin cannot support changing payment plans after the first payment is made.** We're happy to help schedule these changes for your next renewal term, just contact us via Chat or at [855-216-7674](tel:855-216-7674).

You can always update your credit card on file in the customer portal. You can also make payments online using a credit card, even if your policy is set up to pay with escrow. Log in at [Kin.com](https://www.kin.com/?hsLang=en).
